Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - (30m, Fast-paced Startup, Flex Remote work, Japanese MUST)

• Manage all financial activities, including accounting, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Provide financial insights to support company strategies.
• Create and maintain financial models for planning and decisions.
• Work with international financial institutions on Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) products.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Oversee financial reporting, audits, and taxes.
• Manage relationships with investors, the board, and external partners.
• Work with other departments to meet organizational goals.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to promote excellence.
• Advise the CEO and executive team on financial impacts of business choices.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees like MBA, CPA, or CFA are preferred.
• Significant experience in financial leadership, especially in fast-growing settings.
• Skilled in financial modeling and analysis, with the ability to simplify complex data.
• Proven experience in managing stakeholders and building strong relationships.
• Strong leadership skills and experience in developing finance teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
• Experience in multinational or cross-cultural environments is a plus.
