As part of our commitment to continually improving our services, Specialized Group's Christine Remy conducted a candidate interview with Tiffany Huang. Christine recently helped Tiffany find a new position with a luxury cosmetics company.
1) Please tell us about your career to date?
I have always wanted to work in cosmetics so after completing my MBA in Japan, I felt that I was in the perfect place to do so. There are so many cosmetics companies in Japan.
2) What triggered you to change jobs?
After completing my MBA, I began the search for a job in the cosmetics industry, I wanted to pursue my passion for cosmetics.
3) What were the factors in accepting the opportunity that Specialized Group introduced you to?
Since cosmetics is something I have always loved, Christine was able to help me find a job that suited me best. Because the job was a position, she knew I would like, it made the decision to join the company very easy.
4) Did anything make you uneasy to change your job? How did you solve or overcome the uneasiness?
At first, I was afraid that I would not be able to find a job in Japan because I can’t speak Japanese well and didn’t have a lot of experience in the industry, but Christine assured me that I would be alright. She prepared me well and encouraged me to give it a try.
5) What did you think about the services given by Specialized Group?
I am so thankful that Christine was the one who helped me. She took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for, and she also knew the hiring companies well and what they wanted. With her professional expertise, she prepared me well for my interviews which made me feel more confident. Her confidence in me also made me feel that she genuinely cared and wanted the best for me. I believe that Christine is very helpful, and I would recommend her for finding appropriate jobs for each candidate.
6) Do you have a message for those changing jobs?
For those who are changing jobs, I encourage you to work with Specialized Group. They not only take the time to get to know their candidates and understand what they are looking for but they also understand the companies they work with as well.
