We are currently seeking a proficient General Manager for our client in the IT and Social Entertainment industries. This key role contributes to enhancing human connections via a dynamic live streaming platform, serving millions worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the Japanese segment of the platform's operations
  • Managing profit and loss accountability
  • Developing strategies to deliver value to users and incorporate strategic partners
  • Upholding communication with HQ, ensuring content adheres to legal and cultural norms
  • Promoting cross-functional collaboration and transparency in communications
  • Reporting on performance indicators, targets, and results
  • Collecting product feedback to improve user satisfaction
  • Bridging cultural and linguistic differences between Japan and the HQ
  • Handling recruitment, onboarding, and personnel development
  • Administering budget and resource allocation


Requirements:

  • Native Japanese linguistic competence
  • English or Mandarin fluency
  • At least 3 years of overseas professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years in the gaming or entertainment industry
  • High levels of responsibility and ownership
  • Background in creator management or customer service
