Senior Accountant (8m JPY, Hybrid Remote Work OK!)

Our client are a leading retail group, recruiting a Senior Accountant.

You'll work on a range of financial management and reporting functions, focusing on accounts receivable, asset management, and ERP system implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Lead projects to improve financial processes.
• - Manage retail and wholesale accounts receivable.
• - Reconcile sales data with accounts receivable.
• - Issue debit notes to wholesale customers.
• - Post transactions to the ledger.
• - Reconcile accounts payable with bank statements.
• - Prepare and execute bank transfers online.
• - Report monthly cash flow to global CFO.
• - Help create financial reports for local stakeholders and global headquarters.
• - Analyze and manage HR and IT expenses.
• - Use SAP for financial reporting.
• - Assist with ERP system deployment and interface.
• - Manage fixed and leasehold assets using PCA depreciation software.

Qualifications:

• - Experience in financial management.
• - Experience in retail businesses strongly preferred.
• - Experience with international brands preferred.
• - Experience with SAP / ERP (preferred).
• - Knowledge of fixed asset management in retail (preferred).
• - Familiarity with IFRS or U.S. GAAP.
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
