Finance Accounting Manager (US IT Company, 15m, very flex WFH)

We are looking for a Finance Accounting Manager for a top US IT company to lead finance projects and ensure smooth finance and accounting operations in Japan. This role involves working with finance teams and other departments to improve processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead finance projects and improve financial controls and skills.
- Manage daily finance and accounting tasks, address reporting issues.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage key journal entries, financial statement reviews, and treasury tasks.
- Monitor inventory, vendor receivables, and accounts receivable to protect asset value.
- Prepare and present reports to the Japan leadership team and regional headquarters.
- Organize finance meetings and training sessions, assisting other finance managers as needed.
- Work with regional HQ to apply corporate policies and communicate local feedback.

Qualifications:

- Native Japanese speaker with strong English skills.
- 7-10 years of finance experience in a commercial environment, with audit and international business experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting operations, with knowledge of USGAAP and JGAAP (USCPA/JCPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in people management is a plus.
