We are looking for a Credit Underwriting - Risk Manager to strengthen our client’s Consumer and Commercial card underwriting strategies. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and apply risk strategies for the Japan portfolio to ensure profitable growth.
- Use new and existing data to improve model and strategy performance.
- Build strong partnerships with Risk Management, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Acquisitions teams.
- Track credit performance metrics to spot trends and opportunities.
- Work with acquisition and marketing teams on growth projects.
- Gain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor strategies.
- Use company systems knowledge to create effective solutions.
- Promote an inclusive and positive team culture.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with statistical programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset and attention to detail.
