Security Manager holds a key leadership in ensuring the safety and security of all hotel personnel and property assets. The individual is responsible for the overall management of daily operations of the Security department. The Director of Security also champions the risk management committee and ensuring that all personnel comply with all policies and procedures relating to workplace, fire and health safety.
Previous experience in loss prevention, security management, or law enforcement, preferably in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
Strong understanding of security systems, surveillance technology, and risk assessment.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and liaise with other hotel departments.
Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to security and loss prevention. Attention to detail and analytical skills to investigate incidents and implement preventive measures.
Ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and training programs to minimize risks and losses.
