Business Analyst (Associate to AVP)

Summary:

This is for a Business Analyst to join a team at a Global Securities Firm in the Financial Services industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing and improving operational processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.

Responsibilities:

・ Understand regulations such as FIEA and translate business needs into legal ledger requirements with LCD collaboration.
・ Gather specific business requirements from appropriate Line Ops functional areas.
・ Create Behavior Driven Documentation (BDD) and test cases based on Line Ops requirements, as well as known issues and constraints.
・ Coordinate discussions between multiple Line Ops teams, Technology teams, and LCD regarding ledger matters.
・ Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Production Parallel testing, obtaining approval from relevant officers.

Qualifications:

• Self-starter with positive attitude, strong teamwork, and communication skills across diverse contexts.
• Proactive problem solver, adaptable to new challenges.
• Proficient in English, Fluent Japanese

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tech project experience.
• Understanding of control frameworks.
• Knowledge of Japan regulatory reporting and FIEA legal ledger.
