Job Title: Senior Compliance Specialist

A leading firm in the financial services sector is looking for the position of Senior Compliance Specialist. This role will oversee regulatory compliance and advisory roles within the firm. You will be entrusted with managing the regulatory change management program, risk assessment, and compliance oversight. The position demands the ability to develop pertinent compliance policies, support business projects, and promote compliance awareness across the organization.

Key Duties:

• Enhance and manage compliance programs, policies, and procedures
• Serve as a compliance advisor for business units
• Engage actively in regulatory projects as an SME
• Conduct compliance reviews on marketing materials, new products, and business processes
• Carry out regulatory risk assessments and oversight activities
• Supervise regulatory examinations and reporting processes

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree favored
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, or audit, with prior experience in the financial services industry or Big 4 audit/consulting desirable
• Proficient in both Japanese and English, in written and spoken forms
• Capable of producing high-quality reports, facilitating meetings, and influencing decisions
• Ability to think creatively, identify potential issues, and suggest practical business solutions
