We are looking for a Senior Risk Manager to lead the Asset Management Risk function at a financial services firm. The role focuses on identifying and managing risks to safeguard clients, employees, and the company's reputation while supporting asset growth.


Responsibilities:

• Lead risk governance frameworks and manage risk meetings.
• Identify and mitigate emerging risks with regional management.
• Ensure compliance with operational risk standards and monitor key metrics.
• Assess and address risks for new products and services.
• Support client presentations, due diligence, and regional risk initiatives.
• Enhance processes and systems to improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
• Promote and integrate effective risk management practices.

Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in Finance or related field; certifications like CFA or FRM are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments and risk management, including liquidity, market, and credit risks.
• Experience in asset management with a focus on risk and controls.
• Familiarity with local and global regulatory frameworks.
• Fluency in Japanese and English.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.
