Our client, a global technology and services leader, is seeking a C&B Manager for their Japan operations, focusing on designing and managing compensation and benefits programs. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team, ensuring competitive and compliant rewards strategies while fostering an engaged workforce. The position is based in Tokyo with a flexible hybrid work setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop salary structures and bonus plans
- Conduct job evaluations and salary surveys
- Design and manage employee benefits programs
- Negotiate with insurance brokers for optimal coverage
- Lead and develop Total Rewards team
- Implement compensation initiatives across the business
- Lead annual benefit program review sessions
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in compensation/benefits management
- Fluent in English and Japanese (mandatory)
- Deep understanding of compensation and benefits laws
- Strong analytical skills for data interpretation
- Experience with salary structures and incentive programs
- Experience in negotiating with insurance brokers
- Experience in team leadership and management
