We are looking for a Credit Underwriting - Risk Manager to strengthen our client’s Consumer and Commercial card underwriting strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- - Develop and apply risk strategies for the Japan portfolio to ensure profitable growth.
- - Use new and existing data to improve model and strategy performance.
- - Build strong partnerships with Risk Management, Operations, Product, Marketing, and Acquisitions teams.
- - Track credit performance metrics to spot trends and opportunities.
- - Work with acquisition and marketing teams on growth projects.
- - Gain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor strategies.
- - Use company systems knowledge to create effective solutions.
- - Promote an inclusive and positive team culture.
- - Bachelor’s degree required.
- - Proficiency in Japanese and fluency in English.
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- - Experience with statistical programming languages such as SAS, SQL, R, or Python.
- - Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others.
