Retail Finance Manager ( 10m JPY, Hybrid )

• - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports for internal teams and external auditors.
• - Manage balance sheets and cash flow to keep the company financially strong.
• - Implement strategies to manage financial risks and control costs.
• - Oversee the procure-to-pay process for accurate financial reporting.
• - Manage import charges and allocate them properly.
• - Maintain contacts with banks and insurance firms.
• - Analyze financial data to support strategic decisions.
• - Create reports to spot financial risks and opportunities.
• - Ensure compliance with local accounting standards (e.g., J-GAAP, IFRS) and company policies, including SOX requirements.
• - Guide and mentor finance team members to improve efficiency.
• - Support audit processes, tax filings, and regulatory reporting.
• - Lead improvements in financial operations and systems.

• - Proven experience in multinational companies or startups with global reach.
• - Experience in team management and process automation.
• - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• - Equivalent to Nissho Boki 2nd grade proficiency.
• - At least 5 years of relevant finance experience.
• - Expertise in ERP systems (D365, SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools.
• - Strong communication skills in Japanese and English.
• - Strong leadership skills and attention to detail.
• - Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with different teams.
