Our client are a global financial group, recruiting a Non-Financial Risk & Control Officer.

This is a rare opportunity to work primarily in English. Japanese language skills are preferred, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• - Implement and standardize the Non-Financial Risk Management Framework in Japan.
• - Collaborate with senior business leaders to improve controls and streamline processes.
• - Lead reviews after incidents to find root causes and take corrective actions.
• - Promote best practices in risk management and operations across departments.

Qualifications:

• - Experience in risk management and business transformation.
• - Strong analytical skills; able to turn data into practical business insights.
• - Ability to influence and negotiate with senior executives and stakeholders.
• - Capable of creating strategic visions and implementing them effectively.
• - Japanese language skill (preferred).
