JavaScript/Java Software Engineer

Company Overview

Our client is a global insurance company currently expanding their development team to support the business and contribute to its growth.

Only those who are currently residing or have visa to work in Japan are eligible.

Responsibilities

・Develop, thoroughly unit-tested, front-end and/or back-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
・Occasionally develop and review Java/SpringBoot based applications.
・Take architectural decisions and design scalable systems.
・Continuously identify ways of enhancing the existing applications and work on the improvements.
・Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best

Minimum Qualifications

・At least 7 years of relevant experience developing web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and Java/SpringBoot.
・Experience with front-end development using React and Redux.
・Ability to use HTML/CSS to implement clean and responsive user interfaces.
・Experience with back-end development using Node.js and frameworks available for it, such as Express.

・Business English (TOEIC 785 or above) and Business Japanese (JLPT N2 or above), ability in both languages is required
