We are looking for an experienced IT Manager for a well-known European luxury brand in Japan. This key role involves managing the local IT setup and working with regional teams. You'll have the chance to lead IT projects that drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Manage daily IT operations to ensure business runs smoothly.
- - Maintain and improve IT systems, including hardware, networks, and ERP systems.
- - Provide both basic (Tier 1) and advanced (Tier 2) support for IT issues.
- - Implement and support new systems like logistics and e-commerce platforms.
- - Work with regional IT teams for technical support and system integration.
- - Collaborate with local leaders to deliver IT solutions that meet business needs.
- - Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality IT services.
- - Ensure data security and privacy compliance.
- - Maintain IT documentation and update stakeholders on technology changes.
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- - Over five years of experience in network, technical support, or infrastructure management.
- - Skilled in both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support services.
- - Strong knowledge of IT hardware, network systems, and related technologies.
- - Experience with Cisco and Microsoft products is preferred.
- - Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on client needs.
- - Excellent communication skills for working with local and remote teams.
- - Fluent in Japanese and good English skills.
- - Experience in project management, vendor management, and IT strategy.
- - Willingness to travel occasionally.
- - Familiarity with logistics systems (TMS/WMS) and e-commerce platforms.
- - Experience with network equipment like switches, firewalls, and WiFi access points.
