We are seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the IT department of a well-known European manufacturing company.

You'll lead a team of 5+ members, drive IT initiatives, enhance information security, and collaborate with global headquarters.

This position offers a hybrid work style, providing flexibility, and the chance to shape IT strategy both locally and globally.

Responsibilities:

• - Lead and develop the local IT team (5+ members).
• - Plan and manage IT project portfolio.
• - Localise global IT strategies for Japan.
• - Manage the annual IT budget / resource allocation.
• - Serve as the Local Information Security Officer, adapt international security guidelines to local needs, manage security incidents.
• - Plan and lead Japan IT projects.

Qualifications:

• - 6+ years of relevant IT experience.
• - Experience working in global companies.
• - Strong leadership and team development skills.
• - Experience in managing IT budgets and resources.
• - Must be fluent in Japanese.
