We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic IT Business Partner with a specialization in ERP systems and proven experience in people management. This role is key in bridging the gap between our IT and business functions, ensuring that technology initiatives, particularly in the ERP domain, are fully aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing ERP platforms (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics), driving system enhancements, and leading a high-performing IT team. This individual must possess native or near-native Japanese language skills and business-level English proficiency to effectively collaborate in a global and diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Take full ownership of the ERP landscape, overseeing the selection, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing support of the system. Ensure that the ERP system supports business objectives efficiently while remaining compliant with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead full lifecycle ERP implementation and upgrade projects, from initial scoping and requirements gathering through to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Drive the execution of these projects on time and within budget, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance. Provide guidance and career development opportunities to ensure team members reach their full potential.
- Collaborate closely with other IT teams and business units (e.g., finance, HR, sales) to ensure that ERP integrations with other business-critical applications (CRM, HRIS, etc.) are smooth, effective, and future-proof.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation within the ERP system to drive operational efficiency, reduce manual workload, and support business growth.
- Take responsibility for the IT budget as it relates to ERP systems, ensuring that all projects are cost-effective and resources are allocated appropriately. Regularly report on budgetary status and forecasts to senior management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ERP software vendors and implementation partners. Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements (SLAs), and ensure that third-party support is aligned with the organization's needs.
- Ensure that all ERP-related initiatives are compliant with internal governance policies, data privacy laws, and regulatory requirements. Establish security protocols to safeguard sensitive business data and ensure system integrity.
- Lead organizational change management efforts related to ERP implementations and upgrades, ensuring that business stakeholders are fully informed and engaged. Provide regular updates to executives on the progress of ERP initiatives.
