Our client are a global B2C business looking for an Internal Audit Manager. The position is based in Chiba, in a convenient location near to Tokyo.

You will report directly to the global director in HQ. This is an excellent chance to gain experience working directly with senior members of a global company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and update risk profiles for the company's Japanese operations.
• Lead financial, operational, and compliance audits in line with established standards.
• Use data analytics tools for audit planning and fieldwork.
• Oversee SOX compliance activities in coordination with the global team.
• Prepare performance reports for senior management in Japan and the U.S.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail or consumer products.
• CPA, CIA, or similar certifications are beneficial.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, COSO, COBIT, and SOX compliance.
• Proficiency in Access, and Visio
• Experience with GRC audit software (preferred, but not mandatory).
• Communication ability in both English and Japanese.
