A globally recognized luxury brand seeks an HR Business Partner Manager to direct their HR functions in Japan. This role requires expertise in retail or luxury industries and emphasizes strategic HR planning, recruitment, performance management, talent development, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
HR Planning: Collaborate with leadership to predict talent needs and integrate HR practices with business strategy.
Recruitment & Staffing: Develop annual staffing and recruitment plans, manage internal transfers, conduct candidate interviews, and address staffing issues.
Performance Management: Apply company guidelines for performance management practices, assist managers in addressing performance issues and implementing corrective actions.
Talent Management & Development: Conduct annual Career Committee to evaluate employee potential, provide advice on individual development plans.
Compensation & Benefits: Administer the merit and promotional increase process, advise on competitive compensation and incentives, facilitate employee feedback on benefit programs.
Employee Relations: Drive divisional change initiatives via HR strategies, enhance the work environment, and address employee issues.
Requirements:
Familiarity with Labour Law, Compensation & Benefit, HR operations, and practical application.
Minimum 5 years of HR experience.
Fluency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
