We are looking for a Head of Finance to manage financial operations in Japan and New Zealand for a leading FMCG company. This role, based in Tokyo, involves a mix of office and remote work. The position focuses on financial strategy, regulatory compliance, and supporting company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial planning to meet company goals.
- Oversee financial analysis, accounting, and internal controls to boost performance.
- Manage cash flow, capital spending, and asset sales for better liquidity.
- Develop long-term growth strategies, including 3-year and 10-year plans.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and handle tax matters.
- Advise the General Manager and CFO on financial strategy.
- Monitor market trends to keep the company competitive.
- Build and manage a strong finance team.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in financial planning, accounting, and international tax.
- Strong track record in management and strategic decision-making.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Proven leadership in both global and local settings.
- At least 5 years in finance roles or equivalent educational background.
- Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills.
- Problem-solving ability and capable of working independently.
- Skilled at influencing and working across teams.
- Proactive leadership focused on improvement.
