We are looking for an experienced Head of Compliance to lead our Tokyo team. This role offers a hybrid work setup and a chance to make a real impact at a well-known asset management firm. Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Japan Compliance team, ensuring we meet all regulatory standards and providing guidance.
- Be the main contact for Japanese regulatory bodies like the KLFB and other Self-Regulatory Organizations.
- Provide expert advice on regulations such as AML, KYC, and insider trading.
- Keep up with regulatory changes and implement necessary updates.
- Review marketing materials for regulatory compliance.
- Assess new business proposals for compliance.
- Report any regulatory breaches internally and externally.
- Identify and assess compliance risks.
- Help with audits and regulatory checks.
- Conduct compliance training for staff.

Candidate Profile:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a similar field.
- Over 15 years of compliance or regulatory experience in Japan's financial sector, with at least 5-6 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in the trust business or financial sector, with a solid understanding of local regulators like FSA, KLFB, and JSDA.
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English fluency.

候補者のプロフィール:

- 会計、経営管理、金融、法学、または同様の分野での学士号。
- 日本の金融部門での15年以上のコンプライアンスまたは規制経験、少なくとも5〜6年のリーダーシップ経験。
- 信託業務または金融部門での経験、FSA、KLFB、JSDAなどの地元の規制当局に関する深い理解。
- ネイティブレベルの日本語とビジネスレベルの英語の流暢さ。
