Fixed Income IT Application Support Manager

Specialized Group is searching for an experienced IT professional with a strong background in fixed income applications. Our client, a leading firm in the securities industry, is seeking a dedicated Fixed Income IT Application Support Manager to join their Tokyo-based team. This standalone managerial role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of a renowned organization.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for fixed income applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
• Monitor and maintain system health, implementing proactive measures to avoid potential issues
• Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation related to application configuration, functionality, and maintenance procedures

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT application support, with a focus on fixed income platforms
• Strong knowledge of fixed income securities and trading processes
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl) and SQL
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and methodologies is a plus
