We are a top recruitment agency looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing for a well-known luxury hotel in Kyoto. This role is crucial for boosting the hotel's market position and ensuring it meets brand standards and guest expectations. You will be part of the executive team, playing a key role in shaping the hotel's future in a city known for its rich culture. Key Responsibilities:
- - Work with the General Manager to set and reach sales and marketing goals that match the hotel’s vision and brand.
- - Create and carry out marketing plans, set sales goals, and manage promotions to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- - Lead and support a team, promoting a culture of excellence and improvement to ensure high service standards.
- - Oversee the guest experience from booking to departure, ensuring high satisfaction and addressing any issues.
- - Ensure the department follows legal and financial rules and maintain clear communication within the hotel for smooth operations.
- - Keep up with industry trends and apply new practices that support the brand’s focus on wellness and sustainability.
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
- - More than five years in a senior sales and marketing role within luxury hotels, with a proven track record.
- - Skilled in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiar with hotel systems like PMS and CRM.
- - Fluent in English with a basic understanding of Japanese language and culture.
