Asia Head of Direct Marketing / Telemarketing (Global Hotel)

Our client are a global hotel / hospitality brand, searching a Director of Telemarketing / Direct Marketing to take Asia-wide leadership responsibility.

You'll focus on leading a team using data-driven strategy to enhance the customer experience and increase sales from new and return customers.

The role centers on:

Optimizing telemarketing/direct marketing performance and operational efficiency by leveraging data insights to achieve key objectives.

Making significant contributions to the creation and optimization of sales and marketing strategies, including campaign development, product innovation, and financial initiatives, all informed by comprehensive data analysis.

You'll report directly to the VP of marketing for Asia & collaborate closely with multiple global offices. You'll also have regular opportunities for business travel - both domestically and globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Management: Utilize data & analytics to manage annual budgets, P&L, ROI, and KPIs effectively.
  • Future Planning: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to achieve future goals, plans, and objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Lead training & recruiting strategy; develop team members with a focus on succession planning and performance optimization.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee multiple teams, including Inbound, Outbound, Customer Care, and Quality Assurance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and implement data-backed initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in telemarketing sales management and managerial roles, with a proven track record of utilizing data for campaign management and efficiency.
  • Ability to manage various aspects of direct marketing, inside sales, customer care, and operations, integrating data analytics for holistic performance improvement.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English,
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
