Accounting Section Manager (Remote Work Available)

Our client are a global retail group, looking for an Accounting Section Manager.

This is a leadership role, with team management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Lead & manage a team.
• - Manage accounts receivable.
• - Improve cash collection processes.
• - Work with credit card companies / POS terminals on contracts.
• - Keep accurate records of receivables.
• - Monitor account ageing to find overdue accounts and manage collections.
• - Check customer credit limits; review credit control reports.
• - Take part in accounting process improvement projects (eg. ERP implementation).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• - 4+ years of relevant experience
• - Accounts receivable experience.
• - Experience in retail.
• - Must be fluent in Japanese
• - US CPA, Japan CPA, or chartered accountant (preferred).
