Accounting Director (Financial Services - Hybrid Work Style)

Our client are a global financial services provider, recruiting an Accounting Director. This is a senior leadership role with strategic responsibility.

Our client offers a hybrid work style, with both WFH (テレワーク) and in-office flexibility.

Duties:

• Lead financial reporting team
• Manage feedback and appraisals process
• Manage accounting closures for the Securities company and Bank branch
• Oversee book closing, ledger upkeep, and statutory reports
• Supervise control systems, tax calculations, and filing
• Monitor capital ratio and liquidity
• Improve control procedures and workflow
• Manage additional accounting requirements

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in financial accounting/reporting in broker dealer business
• 3+ years of team management experience
• Knowledge of IFRS, JGAAP, and tax accounting
• MUST be fluent in Japanese
• CPA and other qualifications preferred
