Specialized Group are currently looking for a WebSphere Server Specialist. Our client is a leading IT services firm.

You will need expert knowledge of WebSphere Application Servers for this role. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional with solid communication skills.

The role is: you will assist with server maintenance, upgrades, and deployments. You will execute checklist procedures across multiple applications, and validate baseline configurations with technical oversight. You should have proper working knowledge of server installation methods and procedures. You will also perform patching and maintenance of WebSphere our environments. You will need to configure App Server resources such as JTA, JDBC connections, and thread pools. You will manage impending hardware end-of-life or support issues and researching suitable replacement alternatives. We expect you to come up with innovative ways to improve the process of delivering solutions to clients. We expect you to fully document work processes and procedures and perform unit testing, and integration testing.

You will be working for an international company. You will need Fluent level Japanese and business level English for this position.

• Knowledge and experience of the WebSphere Application Server Administration
• Knowledge and experience of the WebSphere Application Server Migration Toolkit
• Knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux servers
• Experience with Java, Web Technologies.
• Experience with PowerShell, Ant, Maven, Jenkin
• Experience with Eclipse, Code Refactoring
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Cluster Creation
• Experience with Cluster Application Deployment Process
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve difficult problems
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Able to provide quality documentation
