Senior Finance Analyst

As Senior Finance Analyst, you'll have the opportunity to:

• • Reporting and Performance Reviews

Support the Finance Manager on reporting, such as Weekly Trading Updates and Monthly Performance Reviews

• • Cost Management

Ensure regional management keep within their cost budgets - proactive tracking, measurement, forecasting, challenge, and support

• • Business Strategy

Assist on evaluating, negotiating ＆ contracting new opportunities and expansion requirements. This will include, but not be limited to, analysing production and programming costs, forming business cases, capex, rights opportunities and multi-channel sales expansion strategies

• • Culture of governance

Help maintain a strong culture of governance and control across the business
You'll be set up for success if you have:

• • Pro-active and have an ability to operate in ambiguous and changing situations with multiple (at times conflicting) stakeholders to deliver results and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and organisational / collaboration skills with ability to interact with those outside of finance including senior leaders to deliver preferred outcomes
  • Ability to partner with the business across a range of disciplines, including Local EVP, Subscription, DS&I, Strategy, Accounting, Tax teams
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic/business acumen
  • Good foundational understanding of finance, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling
  • Fluent in English and Japanese
  • Passion to work on a tech, media/telco and sports environment

Even better if you have:

• • Degree educated or relevant finance qualification
  • Finance experience within a fast growing / global business
  • Knowledge of local legal, tax and accounting laws and standards
  • Experience working with business intelligence/analytics software e.g. Tableau
  • Finance systems knowledge （Oracle preferred）＆ financial modelling understanding
