Global Cosmetic Company is looking for a Brand Manager to define the brand strategy in the Japanese market in line with the international brand positioning and contribute to growth by driving new product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Implement new product launches and to maintain growth of pillar products
  • Manage product portfolio to contribute to the brand business and development
  • Contribute to local adaptation of advertisement and analyze media recommendation
  • Propose, implement, and monitor marketing mix strategies (IMC/360/Digital /Ebiz/Retail/Medical) to build integrated, engaging consumer brand experiences
  • Develop in-depth understanding of consumer insights
  • Monitor local trends and feedback findings to regional or and global teams
  • Manage the budget and the financial implications of forecasts
  • Interact effectively with other departments and teams to support marketing strategies and objectives
  • Guarantee the brand identity: ensure that all actions are in line with the sense of purpose while nourishing the brand

Must Have Aspects

  • Research and market data analysis experience
  • Product knowledge and brand business know-how
  • Knowledge of local retail dynamics and environment

Preferred Qualification

  • FMCG (not necessarily from cosmetic business) background
  • Financial knowledge (P&L, expansion analysis, sales forecasts)
  • Advertising and media planning knowledge
