Finance & Accounting Manager

Job Title: Senior Manager (Finance & Accounting)

Location: Tokyo

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements
• Supporting the preparation of monthly consolidated reporting packages
• Conducting monthly intercompany reconciliation and profit elimination
• Communication and Cooperating with legal entities within European Corporate Finance Group
• Communication and Cooperating with Corporate Finance Group in China
• Point of contact for internal and external auditors in respect of group accounting
• Supporting half year and year end IFRS and HGB audit process of Group financial statements
• Aligning Group financial statements with finalized official audited reports
• Participating in special projects and preparing reports for group analysis (e.g. introduction of a
  new reporting System, Budget-Actual-Analysis, Group COA, Group policies, etc )

• Corporate Finance Group HQ Accounting in China
• Corporate Finance Group Internal Audit
  
  External organizational interfaces including related tasks
• External auditors
• Consultants of special projects
• Japanese Certified Tax Accounting office
  
  Required education and experience
• University Degree in Accounting/Controlling
• First professional experience in (group) accounting and/or reporting (ideally in an international
  environment
  
  Technical qualification and specialized skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
• Experience with relevant ERP and BI software (eg. SAP)
• Business fluency in Japanese and English
• Good command of Chinese would be plus
