An MNC German Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Company is looking for an Accountant. This position will report to the accounting manager. No subordinates.

About the Company

• Tokyo Accounting Department: 4 full-time employees (including this position), 1 contracted employee, 2 temporary employees.
• Tochigi Factory Accounting Department: 2 full-time employees.

Your Responsibilities

• Accounting: Monthly settlement, AR business management (operations are temporary employees), inventory evaluation (inventory allowance calculation)
• Fixed price, cost difference report), fixed asset management, cash management, tax filing, etc.
• Planning to take charge of management duties (budget management, business analysis, etc.)

The Skills and Experience You Need to Succeed

• 4-year university undergraduate
• 5 years or more accounting work experience
• The accounting experience of a listed company (Japanese standard, USGAAP, IFRS is acceptable. Subsidiary is not acceptable)
• Medical device industry experience a plus
• Native level Japanese that can interact with sales and marketing
• Business level English (mainly interaction with group companies, reading and writing emails, rarely conference calls)
• Microsoft Excel (vlookup, sumif, pivot table, etc. No macro required.
• Experience with ERP such as SAP is a plus
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Analytical ability, logical thinking ability
• Power to accomplish
