Our client are a global company active in software & gaming, expanding their presence in Japan. To lead this expansion, they are searching for a Vice President of Engineering.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background in software development, as well as experience leading large development teams. Game and/or mobile industry experience are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and expand a large software engineering team.
• Manage departments to meet software development goals.
• Solve complex challenges in product development processes.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications:

• At least 14 years of experience in software development / project management.
• Significant experience in a leadership role.
• History of managing large teams and delivering products to the market.
• Native / fluent ability in Japanese is mandatory.
