Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a leading company in the global financial services industry. This role is based in Tokyo and focuses on recruitment across Japan and the Asia-Pacific region, including Hong Kong, China, Singapore, and Australia. You will streamline the recruitment process and ensure candidates have a positive experience from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Lead recruitment for all levels in Japan and support APAC regional hiring.
  • - Work with HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to align recruitment strategies with market trends and business goals.
  • - Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to adapt recruitment strategies to local needs.
  • - Oversee HR tasks, including updating employee records and coordinating new hire onboarding.
  • - Develop employer branding and sourcing strategies using social media and university partnerships to build strong talent pipelines.
  • - Manage recruitment databases for accurate data handling and process improvements.
  • - Maintain integrity in the applicant tracking system and assist with regional HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:

  • - Native Japanese speaker with fluent English.
  • - Over four years of talent acquisition experience, ideally in a regional APAC role.
  • - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • - Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
  • - Familiarity with recruitment technologies like Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter is a plus.
