Sustainability & Social Impact Consultant (Tokyo)

Our client are a leading consulting firm, recruiting Sustainability & Social Impact Consultants.

You'll work on sustainability initiatives, ESG strategies, and environmental projects for various clients, including corporations, public institutions, and financial entities.

Key Responsibilities

• - Develop and implement sustainability and ESG strategies.
• - Manage projects related to carbon neutrality, sustainable supply chain management (SCM), circular economy models, and TCFD compliance.
• - Create and oversee social impact KPIs, contributing to collective impact and social systems thinking.
• - Work with executive teams, sustainability departments, and SDG promotion units.

Qualifications

• - Experience in ESG, sustainability, or environmental consulting.
• - Passionate about contributing to societal and environmental change.
• - Expertise in sustainable finance and impact investment (preferred).
• - At least 3 years of experience in consulting or think tank roles (preferred).
• - Academic background in ESG, sustainability, or environmental studies (preferred).
• - Experience in consulting firms, think tanks, financial institutions, or rating agencies (preferred).
• - Certification as a securities analyst is a plus (preferred).
• - MUST be fluent in Japanese.
