Role Summary
Our client is in search of a Strategic Product Delivery Lead to foster collaboration with business stakeholders and drive the execution of our product roadmap specifically in Japan. In this role, you'll be instrumental in overseeing the seamless design, delivery, and quality assurance of our products while championing a customer-centric approach and leveraging Agile methodologies. As a key leader within our team, you'll take charge of strategic initiatives, manage a diverse team, and ensure alignment with our digital transformation objectives.
Objectives
- A leadership role reporting directly to the Head of Product
- High level coordination between regional and internal teams for the testing and initiatives deliverry
- Work cross-functionally with all business departments to ensure successful implementation.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Oversee implementation of product roadmap aligned with Japan's technology objectives.
- Cultivate strong relationships with business stakeholders.
- Provide leadership for strategic programs.
- Delivery & Quality Assurance:
- Manage delivery, execution, and quality assurance.
- Ensure high standards and timely delivery.
- Financial Management:
- Efficiently manage budgets.
- Collaborate with leadership for financial insights.
- Leadership & Mentorship:
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team.
- Foster an innovative and collaborative culture.
Qualifications
- A decade or more of experience in a similar role from financial services sector.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese.
