Standalone IT Manager (Hybrid Remote work OK!)

Our client are a leading global FMCG company. They are recruiting an experienced IT Manager for Japan.

You'll manage a range of IT functions & operations including application support, and ERP implementation. The successful candidate will report directly to the regional IT head.

Our client offers a hybrid remote working environment.

Responsibilities:

• - Manage Japan IT functions.
• - Plan and manage IT projects (incl. budget management).
• - Collaborate with global team on major projects.
• - Manage application support activities.
• - Troubleshoot and resolve application issues quickly.
• - Oversee ERP system deployment and maintenance.
• - Manage local IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and hardware.
• - Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades.
• - Provide basic local helpdesk support.
• - Escalate issues to Global IT as needed.

Qualifications:

• - 6+ years of IT management experience
• - Experience in application support and ERP implementation.
• - Understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, hardware).
• - Must be fluent in Japanese.
• - Experience in a multinational company (preferred).
• - Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) preferred.
