Our client are a global banking institution, seeking a Senior Operational Risk Lead.

You'll lead risk management efforts, with strategic oversight and the opportunity to implement enhancements. This is an opportunity to take on a strategic role at a global banking leader.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the non-financial risk area, focusing on areas such as Financial Crime Risk, Fraud, Resilience Risk, and SOX/Financial Reporting Risk..
• Implement process improvements, ensuring compliance with group strategy and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic management support, guiding the direction of Control Office activities and managing risk governance frameworks.
• Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, including Regulators and External Auditors, to ensure effective risk management and control governance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in risk management within a complex, multinational organization.
• Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment and ability to manage emerging risks.
• Strong relationship management, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Experience in business transformation, with an emphasis on process enhancement and automation.
