Senior Events Manager, MICE (Global Travel Leader)

Our client are a leading global travel company, looking for a Senior Events Manager. The seniority is flexible, and junior candidates are also encouraged to apply.

The primary business language of this role is English. Business-level Japanese ability will be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of MICE travel programs.
Develop programs and proposals that meet specific client requirements, focusing on innovation and efficiency.
Build and enhance client relationships.
Manage negotiations with hotels and suppliers.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Liaise with international colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Enhance proposal development and increase RFP conversion rates.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum of 5 years' experience in MICE event planning and management.
Strong command of English; Japanese ability is a plus.
Effective negotiation, multitasking, organizational, and networking skills.
