Search Engineer - Global EC Company - Tokyo(Hybrid)

Looking for a search engineer to be working with a global e-commerce company based in Tokyo! The company has over 1.2 billion members worldwide and has outstanding global presence and reputation. You will be part of the search platform team, which provides important aspects to the customer and puts user experience as a priority.

They are looking for a passionate individual with understanding of latest technology and trend, who would push beyond what search technologies can do.

Responsibilities:

- Design, documentation, implementation and testing of features in the search engine platform

- Improve search experience and relevance using features and algorithms

- Contribute to technical and product direction of the platform

Qualifications:

- BS in Computer Science or related field

- Good English Communication skills

- 3 years of experience in search engineering/SEO

- Proficiency in Java Programming and good understanding of algorithms
