Our client are a leader in energy, looking for a skilled Project Operating Manager to oversee regional project activities. You'll ensure projects meet company standards, contract terms, quality, safety, budget, and schedule goals.

This is a leadership role which involves team management.

This is a rare chance to work primarily in English. Ability to read/write in Japanese will be mandatory for documentations and certifications.

Responsibilities

• - Implement and improve project execution strategies.
• - Collaborate with Asia HBU Operations Manager.
• - Manage regional projects.
• - Lead local project teams.
• - Define team structures & guide team development.
• - Develop and refine processes by integrating best practices and lessons from past projects.
• - Collaborate with managers and controllers on budgeting and planning.
• - Oversee project performance
• - Ensure projects meet contractual agreements.
• - Apply consistent contract and claims management.
• - Lead and coach the team to achieve business goals, improve efficiency, and increase revenue and profitability.
• - Improve operational efficiency, & enhance project execution capacity

Qualifications

• - 10+ years experience in the industrial sector
• - More than 5 years of experience in team management and / or project management
• - Experience in the electrical industry
• - Basic knowledge of electrical engineering or power electronics products.
• - Native or business-level English
• - Business-level Japanese skills and willingness to learn.
• - PMI PMP or equivalent certification.
• - Strong leadership and people management skills.
