Project Manager for a Global Asset Management Firm

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the overall technology
• Communicate effectively to engage with senior internal clients
• Coordinate across all stakeholders (technology and business)
• Actively manage stakeholders' expectations, resource alignment, and possible conflicting
  priorities across projects
• Lead scope definition and communication sessions
• Identify risks, plan for unanticipated outcomes, and form appropriate contingency plans
• Clearly define the roadmap for the projects
• Establish project/program governance
• Monitor project budget and expenses

Qualifications

• Native or upper business Japanese fluency
• Business English fluency
• 5+ years overall technology experience
• 3 - 5+ years in a Project Manager/PMO Type position
• Demonstrated ability to use Project management tools (MS Project or equivalent)
• Fluent in the Software Development Life Cycle (Waterfall and Agile) and software development tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and provide project progress and financial metrics
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformational projects and programs in the financial services industry (preferably hedge fund or large financial technology department)
• Solid knowledge of financial markets
• PMP or other certification a big plus
