Process engineer

My client is the world leader in gases, technologies, and services for Industry and Healthcare.

They are looking for a Process Engineer to join the Advanced Materials B.U. which supplies chemicals that are critical to semiconductor manufacturing process to domestic and overseas customers.

Main tasks:

1. Responsible for technical feasibility study, equipment design, small-medium scale project execution

(incl. cost estimation, role & responsibility coordination, budgeting, scheduling) following various

applicable design specifications and standards (including management of scope, capital cost

estimates, and schedules) that meet local code requirement, internal standard and customer/user

requirement specification.

2. Responsible for procurement of equipment and materials, and services, selection and hiring of

subcontractors (construction management), inspection and start-up

3. Leading risk assessment (incl. process hazard analysis), design reviews, lead "Management of

Change" process for project changes, and leading construction/ pre-startup reviews.

4. Provide process engineering expertise across various product lines. Develop practical solutions to

complex technical problems (including leading development of basic engineering design package).

Requirements:

At least 5 years working in chemical manufacturing or project which involves hazardous

At least 3 years working in vendor management as a part of project planning/ execution

Bachelor degree in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering or above

Ideal:

Working experience in design and/or operation of chemical distillation

Experience in collaborating with overseas stakeholders

Working experience in commissioning effort of chemical operation

English communication skill (TOEIC score: 500 or above)

Hazardous Material Engineer (class A or B)
