Business Analyst Operations Manager - Prime Brokerage/Securities Lending

We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst Operations Manager with experience in Prime Brokerage and Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL).

In this role, you will lead a project to set up the SBL business using advanced systems like Global 1 and I-STAR. You will work with different teams to ensure the project runs smoothly and operations are efficient. This position offers a chance to work on important projects in a fast-paced market, with opportunities for career growth. The hybrid work model provides flexibility while keeping you engaged in key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with IT and business teams to ensure technical requirements meet business needs.
- Document and design current and new workflows and systems.
- Oversee testing processes across various products and regions.
- Support the securities lending desk and manage capital capacity in Japan.
- Ensure smooth settlements between borrowers and lenders.
- Handle margin calls and payments, and track their status.
- Manage corporate actions for SBL and collateral positions.
- Implement control measures for effective risk management.
- Find and implement ways to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage project risks and report issues as needed.

Qualifications:

- At least 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Project Manager role in operations.
- Significant experience in the SBL sector is required.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Skilled in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Fluent in Japanese and proficient in business-level English.
