Our client, a leading global asset manager in the financial services industry, is seeking a People Team Specialist in Japan. This role offers the opportunity to manage benefit and payroll operations, working closely with local and global teams to support HR initiatives and drive efficiency improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage benefit and payroll operations
- Monitor legislative changes in compensation and benefits
- Handle employee inquiries on benefits and payroll
- Identify and drive operational efficiency improvements
- Manage occupational safety and health committee
- Collaborate with global People Team on HR initiatives
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in benefit and payroll operations
- Fluent in Japanese and English for business
- Proficiency with HRIS, Workday is a plus
- Strong understanding of HR operations
- Keen on HR legislative and market updates
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
