Job Title: Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis

Location: Tokyo

Our client, an industry leader in the Consumer Goods and Cosmetics sector, is seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the annual budget cycle, monitor financial metrics, and prepare financial reports for designated brand portfolios.
• Act as the central financial point of contact amongst business units, management, and regional offices.
• Adjust financial plans as needed, particularly during the annual budgeting process.
• Supervise assets and capital expenditure in compliance with company policies.
• Ensure adherence to corporate account reconciliation standards, statutory & US GAAP reporting, and SOX.
• Establish an efficient reporting process for brands and the management team.
• Apply wide-ranging knowledge across all associated functional disciplines.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 6 years' experience in accounting or finance. CPA/CMA/MBA qualifications are advantageous.
• Familiarity with Japan/US GAAP and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Japanese (native level) and English (business level), both spoken and written.
• Effective cross-functional communication skills.
• Track record of managing critical deliverables and addressing complex financial issues.

• 必要に応じて財務計画の調整、特に年間予算作成時
• 企業方針に基づいた資産と資本支出の監督
• 企業の会計調整基準、法定＆米国GAAP報告、SOXへの準拠確保
• ブランドと経営陣向けの効率的な報告プロセスの確立
• 関連する各機能領域全体に対する深い理解と適用

必要な資格:

• 会計または財務の分野で最低6年以上の経験。CPA/CMA/MBAの資格があると尚良し
• 日本および米国のGAAPと報告要件についての知識
• 日本語（母国語レベル）と英語（ビジネスレベル）の読み書き、会話能力
• 重要な成果物の管理と複雑な財務問題への対応の経験
