Our client are a leading international law firm, searching for a Mergers & Acquisitions associate.

This role is suited for candidates who are proficient in Japanese and have experience in corporate law.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis in mergers and acquisitions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate documents for M&A transactions.
• Provide legal advice to clients on cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with laws.
• Collaborate with teams across different countries for transaction processes.
• Stay updated on legal and business changes affecting M&A.

Qualifications:

• Law degree from a recognized institution.
• At least 3 years experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A.
• Business-level Japanese language skills.
• Knowledge of commonwealth jurisdictions (US, UK, Australia, New Zealand) preferred.
• Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, and organization.
