Our client are a Japan-headquartered leader in energy, recruiting a LNG (Liquefied natural gas) Attorney.

You'll provide a wide range of legal support, including drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, advising on legal risks, and supporting business initiatives for LNG operations. Our client offers leading salary & benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate legal guidance for all aspects of the LNG business and operations.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks, especially regarding LNG Sales and Purchase Agreements (SPA) in mid-term and long-term markets.
• Draft, review, and analyze contractual terms.
• Support LNG contracting requirements; participate in negotiations.
• Help establish the value chain for new fuels like ammonia and hydrogen.
• Lead & develop junior staff.

Required Experience:

• Experience with mid to long-term physical LNG contracts.
• Experience in energy industry.
• A degree in law or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience (law firm or in-house role).
• Background in commodity transactions (LNG preferred).
• Analytical, drafting, & negotiation skills.
