About this role

Reporting into the Manager, Learning & Leadership APAC, the Learning & Leadership Partner will enable delivery of training, development and on-boarding programs for stores through the most effective and consumable means using the right method/channel, for the right audience, at the right time through the most effective and consumable means. You will be responsible for ensuring curriculum is localized, integrated, up-to-date and utilizes innovative delivery techniques and modalities to maximize skill acquisition and knowledge retention, as well as measuring and monitoring training effectiveness.

A day in the life:

・ Partner with Business Leaders and Regional Leaders to create and execute a local learning strategy including onboarding of new employees, ongoing development for existing leadership teams and store performance training

・ Facilitate and deliver retail learning programs to store leadership team

・ Create a clear enrollment and communication strategy for learning contents and offerings

・ Ensure all training programs are running in a quality way across the stores in Japan

・ Identify, prepare and build in market facilitators to support the delivery of training programs, in addition to co-design and delivery of Train-the Trainer programs

・ Design and facilitate a wide range of conversations and events that require the support of an expert facilitator

・ Partner with Learning Design to innovate and update all in-store training programs

・ Create, Implement and localize learning programs based on Japan needs

・ Execute Japan or departmental training needs analysis

・ Evaluate the success of training programs through various methods, including observation, surveys, interviews, and feedback

・ Work in close collaboration with a wide array of partners to provide an individualized learning experience for individual market needs

・ Remain immersed in the larger lululemon organization through attending regular team meetings, department offsites and Area level gatherings

Qualifications:

・ Recommended 3 - 5 years solid training experience

・ Fluent in Japanese & English

・ Regularly lead trainings and have the ability to adapt to various levels of experience and learning styles

・ Great at getting related to everyone quickly

・ Self-led leader with excellent time management and organization skills

・ Experienced and skilled communicator, trainer, facilitator and coach

・ Coachable and have an appetite to grow in our organization through developing others

・ Strategic, future focused, plans ahead, and follows up regularly

・ Hold cross-functional partners accountable for quality in all areas
