Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer - FinTech

Our client, operating in the sectors of Cryptocurrency, FinTech, and Blockchain, is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist. This is a full-time position, based in Roppongi, Tokyo.

The QA Engineer will be responsible for directing the quality assurance process within an agile, Scrum-based team. The role requires managing the QA process from establishing testing parameters to compiling comprehensive quality assessment reports.

The working language of the team is English - no Japanese language proficiency is required for this role!

Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and implement quality assurance parameters and protocols
• Design, manage, and track test cases and schedules
• Develop and maintain an automated testing environment
• Draft test code and oversee its correct execution
• Conduct exhaustive tests and compile thorough evaluation reports

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrable expertise in the software testing lifecycle
• A minimum of three years' experience in comprehensive QA roles
• Experience in constructing automated testing environments
• Proficiency in test automation languages such as Groovy or Java
• Experience in UI and API testing environments
• Fluency in English

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with blockchain technology
• Basic knowledge of networking, security, and cryptography
• Experience in performance testing with tools such as Load Runner or JMeter
• Understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD and tools such as Docker and Jenkins
• Experience in mobile application testing
